Archery Whitetail

The early season in Buffalo County offers a strategic edge for bowhunters looking to target buck on predictable late-summer feeding patterns. With crops still in the fields and minimal hunting pressure, this is the best time to catch mature deer moving in daylight.

You’ll be set up in stands that overlook travel corridors between bedding and food- soybeans, alfalfa, corn, acorn-rich ridges. Our preseason trail cams tell us exactly where mature bucks are moving. and we will get you in position with minimal intrusion. If you like calm weather, patterned bucks, and quiet woods, early season is your time.
